<p>There are several entrances to the harbor at <a data-county="Agder" data-lat="58.23726" data-lng="8.41994" data-municipality="Lillesand" data-type="Sund i sjø" href="ssr:364312">Humlesund</a>, and all are easy to find. In the southwestern channel, one predominantly navigates north of the small islet approximately in the center of the channel; smaller vessels can go south of this islet, but the channel is narrow with 8 meters depth in the middle. Approaching from the southeast, steer between the <a data-county="Agder" data-lat="58.23388" data-lng="8.4363" data-municipality="Lillesand" data-type="Båe i sjø" href="ssr:83900">Selbåene</a>, two shoals that are always visible, and continue mid-channel into the harbor. From the north, the 3.5-meter depth area, marked with black and red spar buouy (BRB), can be passed on either side. The northern channel is the deepest, 9 meters, and less narrow, but the southern channel is still preferable as it avoids a very sharp turn.</p>

I det sydvestre løpet går man fortrinnsvis N for den lille holmen omtrent midt i løpet, mindre fartøyer kan gå S om denne holmen, men løpet er trangt, med 8 m dybde midt i. Kommer man fra SE, styres det mellom <a data-county="Agder" data-lat="58.23388" data-lng="8.4363" data-municipality="Lillesand" data-type="Båe i sjø" href="ssr:83900">Selbåene</a> , to skvalpeskjær som alltid er synlige, og videre midtvaters inn på havna. Fra N kan 3,5 m-grunnen, svart og rød stake (BRB), kan passeres på begge sider. Det nordre løpet er dypest, 9 m, og mindre trangt, men det søndre er likevel å foretrekke da man her slipper den meget krappe svingen.</p>
