The strait is narrow but well marked and well worth a visit. The minimum depth is 2.0 meters, and the clearance under the bridge across <a href="ssr:898333" data-county="Møre og Romsdal" data-lat="63.04298" data-lng="7.42399" data-municipality="Averøy" data-type="Sund i sjø">Gaupsundet</a> is 6 meters.</p>
