<p>Usually, one keeps well south of the red stake at Bardsfluda. After passing this, steer up between Honninsvåg beacon at Tårneset and the northernmost iron rod south-southwest of the beacon until you reach the upper marks at the bottom of the bay. Maintain this course until the sand reef is passed and you have entered the deep basin inside. In bad weather from the northwest, the entire inlet breaks down, and there can be sea swells inside the harbor.</p>
