<p>Between 1200–1400 m high mountains, the Lånefjord cuts in and forms, in optimal conditions, a good harbor. However, in bad weather, especially from NW, it is exposed to strong downdrafts. There are reasonable depths throughout the inner part of the fjord, with clay and silt bottom.</p>
