<p><a href="ssr:122437" data-county="Rogaland" data-lat="59.24255" data-lng="5.51342" data-municipality="Bokn" data-type="Fjord">Falkeidflæet</a> is the basin between rocky, treeless, gray islands and Tysværlandet, which is combined with Statoil Kårstø gas terminal.</p>
<p>In the adjacent straits, the current is strongest in <a href="ssr:427850" data-county="Rogaland" data-lat="59.2537" data-lng="5.46289" data-municipality="Bokn" data-type="Sund i sjø">Ognasundet</a>. It is mostly dependent on the wind and can flow in the same direction for an extended period. During prolonged, calm weather, the current changes at half tide and ebb, and is strongest northward at high tide.</p>

<p>I de tilstøtende sundene er strømmen sterkest i <a href="ssr:427850" data-county="Rogaland" data-lat="59.2537" data-lng="5.46289" data-municipality="Bokn" data-type="Sund i sjø">Ognasundet</a> . Den er mest avhengig av vinden og kan gå samme vei i lenger tid. Under langvarig, rolig vær skifter strømmen på halv flo og fjære, og er sterkest N-over ved flo.</p>
