<p>Årvågsfjorden is an approximately 3 nautical miles long continuation eastward from Torsetsundet. The fjord is quite clear. There are several farms on the southern side of the fjord, while the northern side is practically desolate and in several places, steep. The current flows into the fjord with the rising tide and out with the falling tide.</p>

<p>Årvågsfjorden er en ca 3 nautiske mil lang fortsettelse E-over av Torsetsundet. Fjorden er ganske ren. Det er en del garder på S-siden av fjorden, N-siden er praktisk talt øde og flere steder brattlendt. Strømmen setter inn fjorden med stigende og ut med fallende vann.</p>
