<p>Eidsfjorden is mostly clean and deep. Only close to the shore and in the bays are there some reefs and areas that dry out. The landscape around the inlet of the fjord is desolate, but a bit further south in the fjord, there is some deciduous forest and cultivated land. At the bottom of the fjord, the land is flat with several farms.</p><p>The fjord can be ice-covered from Eide and northward to Glenjeholmane for about 1 1/2 months in winter.</p>

<p>Eidsfjorden er stort sett ren og dyp. Bare innunder land og i buktene finnes noen skjær og tørrfall. Omkring innløpet til fjorden er landskapet øde, men litt lengre S i fjorden, noe lauvskog og dyrket mark. I bunnen av fjorden er landet flatt med flere gardsbruk.</p><p>Fjorden kan være islagt fra Eide og N-over til Glenjeholmane i ca 1 1/2 måned om vinteren.</p>
