<p>At Mongstad, there is Statoil's oil refinery and crude oil terminal with large quay facilities for unloading and loading of oil and petroleum products. </p><p>Ships of 30,000–380,000 tons can be serviced at the facility, and it takes 15 to 30 hours to unload/load a fully loaded oil tanker.</p><p>4 tugboats are stationed at the facility. Water and oil as well as 1.5–2 ton cranes are available at all quays, except quay 4) where there is only water. The module quay, located in Mongstadvika and used for general cargo, has no restrictions, while for the remaining quays refer to the safety instructions for quay facilities.</p><p>The refinery has its own harbor watch with 24-hour service on VHF channels 11 and 16.</p><h3>Restrictions</h3><p>Safety zone of 30 m from the shoreline and ships lying at the quay!</p>

<p>Ved Mongstad ligger Statoils oljeraffineri og råoljeterminal med store kaianlegg for lossing og lasting av olje- og petroleumsprodukter. </p><p>Båter på 30 000–380 000 tonn kan betjenes ved anlegget og det tar fra 15 til 30 timer å losse/laste en fullastet oljetanker.</p><p>4 taubåter er stasjonert ved anlegget. Vann og olje samt 1,5–2 tonns kraner ved alle kaiene, unntatt kai 4) hvor det kun er vann.
