<p>Lillesand is the center of the municipality of the same name. During the summer, it is a very popular vacation spot for tourists from both domestic and international locations. There is a hotel and a boarding house here.<br />
Industries include fiberglass manufacturing, wood processing, electrometallurgical industry (Saint Gobian), and flotation plant for mineral processing.<br />
The latter two industries import and export through the harbor.<br />
The town is very centrally located with good bus connections to Kristiansand and Arendal. The distance to Kjevik airport is about 30 km. There is a local boat route between Lillesand and Kristiansand during the summer season.</p>

<h3>Guest Harbor</h3>
<p>For the recreation boat fleet, there is a laundromat, shower, toilets, garbage container, septic tank disposal, and water filling stations.<br />
The tourist office is located in the center. Small boats can bunker oil, and water can be filled at the quays.</p>

<p>The current is not particularly noticeable in the harbor, which is usually ice-free in winter.</p>
