<p>Geiranger, at the innermost part of Geirangerfjord, has tourist hotels (only one is open in winter season), motels, cafes, and many camping sites with cabin rentals. There is a shop with a post office, several stores, a bank, and a petrol station. In summer, the place is frequented by many tourist ships, the coastal express, and tourist boat/ferry to Hellesylt.<br />Service building with tourist information, ticket office, and toilet. Ferry quay for the ferry to Hellesylt/Sylte (Valldal). The ferry operates only in summer (May 1 – October 1).<br />Concrete floating jetty, designed for tourist ships during the season. SeaWalk connected to the concrete floating jetty, 236 m and 4.5 m wide, capacity approx. 4000 people/hour.<br />Municipal concrete jetty, N-side, 23 m, and S-side, 50 m. Power and water. Snack bar, toilet, shower, petrol, and diesel pumps.<br />Geiranger Wharf. Public floating pier for rent. Only permanent berths.<br />The place is connected to the national road network.</p>

<p>Geiranger, innerst i Geirangerfjorden, har turisthotell, (kun et åpent i vintersesongen) moteller, kaféer og mange campingplasser med hytteutleie. Her er butikk med post i butikk, flere forretninger, bank og bensinstasjon. Om sommeren anløpes stedet av mange turistskip, hurtigruten og turistbåt/ferje til Hellesylt.<br />Servicebygg med turistinformasjon, billettkontor og toalett. Ferjekai for ferja til Hellesylt/Sylte (Valldal). Ferja går kun om sommeren (1 mai–1 oktober).<br />Betongflytebrygge, beregnet for turistskipene i sesongen. SeaWalk koblet til betongflytebrygge, 236 m og bredde 4,5 m, kapasitet ca. 4000 pers/time.<br />Kommunal betongutstikker, N-siden, 23 m, og S-siden, 50 m. Strøm og vann. Gatekjøkken, toalett, dusj, bensin- og dieselpumper.<br />Geiranger Brygge. Offentleg flytebrygge for utleige. Kun faste plasser.<br />Stedet er tilknyttet riksveinettet.</p>

<p>Anchorage is possible everywhere within the line between the farms Homlung and Grande, where the depth is about 60 m, sandy and muddy bottom; mooring buoy directly outside the river mouth, mooring bolts on the W-side of the fjord and N of the ferry quay.
