<p>At the innermost part of Nordgulen lies the industrial town of Svelgen. Svelgen is the administrative center for the municipality of Bremanger, with considerable dense buildings. There are shops, a café, a hotel, and tourist information here. <br>The municipal quay, by the Riseelva river, has a 30m concrete quay. Non-scheduled vessels must have permission from Firda Billag to dock at the quay.<br>There is a floating jetty for seaplanes and a 10m floating jetty for disembarking.</p>
<h3>Sailing Information</h3>
<p>The entrance is somewhat narrow but well marked for both day and night sailing.<br>It should be noted that the current often sets the vessel down towards the municipal quay.</p>

Her er handel, kafé, hotell og turist info. <br>Kommunekaia, ved Riseelva, 30 m betong-kai. Ikke-rutegående fartøyer må ha tillatelse fra Firda Billag for å ligge ved kaien.</p>
<p>Flytebrygge for sjøfly og 10 m flytebrygge, ilandstigningsbrygge.</p>
<h3>Seilingsinformasjon</h3>
<p>Innløpet er noe trangt, men godt oppmerket for både dag- og nattseilas.<br>Man bør være oppmerksom på at strømmen ofte setter fartøyet ned mot kommunekaia.</p>
