<p>Ulvik is the administrative center of the municipality with the same name. In addition to municipal offices, there are shops, a bank, a post office, a tourist office, a gas station, a conference center, a mechanical workshop, a fruit storage facility, a doctor, a dentist, a veterinarian, primary and secondary schools, the State Gardening School, Ulvik Forest Plantation School, several hotels, and guesthouses here.
