<p>The coastal village Brattvåg, is the central location in the fjord and the center for Haram municipality. The location has a post office and shops of all kinds, bank, hotel, cafes, doctor, dentist,<br />police, mechanical workshop and shipyard, canning factory, fishing gear factory<br />and power plant. </p>
<p>At Kjeholmen, there is a protective breakwater for a small boat harbor with an entrance/opening to the W in the bay. Service house with shower, toilet,<br />washing machine and lounge. Boat slip for boats up to 11 m and several guest piers. Brattvåg ferry quay, 42 m.</p>
<h3>Ship Traffic</h3>
<p>Brattvåg is visited by route boats from Molde and Ålesund, as well as by the cargo route Bergen–Trondheim.</p>
