Near the settlement, there are a school, youth house, pub, and fisherman's home.<br />The harbor is very good and accessible in all kinds of weather. In the winter, ice may form, but the harbor is kept open by traffic. There is a road connection to Mefjordvær and Finnsnes.</p>
