        "description_en":"<p>From Flokeneset, F\u00f8rdefjorden extends about 20 nautical miles inland. The fjord is deep and poses few difficulties for navigation. The land on both sides at the outer part of the fjord is gently sloping with considerable forest and fairly dense settlement.<br />Further in, the landscape becomes steeper and more rugged, especially from L\u00f8kvik and eastwards, but further in it becomes more open, eventually transitioning into the beautiful, open valley at the mouth of the J\u00f8lstra river. Along F\u00f8rdefjorden, the settlement is very scattered.<br />The current almost always flows out. Inbound flows usually occur only as back eddies along the shore. The current strength varies with wind conditions and freshwater supply from the rivers. The current is particularly strong in \u00c5lasundet. At Helg\u00f8yna, it is reported to set out north of and in south of the island. Off Lammeskora, however, the current flows both ways, and over the shallow ridge between Svan\u00f8ya and Flokeneset, it can sometimes set at good speed.<br />In winters with extended cold periods, ice can extend all the way out to \u00c5lasundet.<br />Usually, it doesn't extend further out than to Naustdal.</p>\n<p>There are few good harbors and anchorages in F\u00f8rdefjorden.</p>",

Landet p&aring; begge sider i den ytre delen av fjorden er slakt med atskillig skog og ganske tett bebyggelse.<br />Lengre inne er landskapet brattere og villere, s&aelig;rlig fra L&oslash;vika og E\u2011over, men blir lengre inne mer &aring;pent, for til slutt &aring; g&aring; over i det vakre, &aring;pne dalf&oslash;ret ved utl&oslash;pet av elven J&oslash;lstra. Langs F&oslash;rdefjorden er bebyggelsen sv&aelig;rt spredt.<br />Str&oslash;mmen g&aring;r nesten alltid ut. Inn g&aring;r den vanligvis bare som bakevje langs land. Str&oslash;mstyrken varierer med vindforholdene og ferskvannstilf&oslash;rselen fra elvene. S&aelig;rlig sterk er str&oslash;mmen i &Aring;lasundet. Ved Helg&oslash;yna oppgis den &aring; sette ut N om og inn S om &oslash;ya. Ut for Lammeskora g&aring;r derimot str&oslash;mmen begge veier, og over den grunne ryggen mellom Svan&oslash;ya og Flokeneset kan den til tider sette med god fart.<br />Isen kan i vintrer med langvarige kuldeperioder ligge helt ut til &Aring;lasundet.<br />Vanligvis ligger den ikke lengre ut enn til Naustdal.</p>\n<p>Det er f&aring; gode havner og ankerplasser i F&oslash;rdefjorden</p>",
