The 46 m high <a href=\"ssr:269527\" data-county=\"Rogaland\" data-lat=\"59.4402\" data-lng=\"5.08336\" data-municipality=\"Haugesund\" data-type=\"Haug\">Varden</a> (the highest point on <a href=\"ssr:548311\" data-county=\"Rogaland\" data-lat=\"59.44179\" data-lng=\"5.08236\" data-municipality=\"Haugesund\" data-type=\"&Oslash;ygruppe i sj&oslash;\">R&oslash;v&aelig;r</a>) and the steep island of <a href=\"ssr:633105\" data-county=\"Rogaland\" data-lat=\"59.42523\" data-lng=\"5.12726\" data-municipality=\"Haugesund\" data-type=\"Holme i sj&oslash;\">Glette</a> with <a href=\"ssr:790692\" data-county=\"Rogaland\" data-lat=\"59.42443\" data-lng=\"5.12542\" data-municipality=\"Haugesund\" data-type=\"Fyrlykt\">Glette lighthouse</a> are easily recognizable from the sea.</p>\n<p>The entrance from <a href=\"ssr:512551\" data-county=\"Rogaland\" data-lat=\"59.43645\" data-lng=\"5.09128\" data-municipality=\"Haugesund\" data-type=\"Vik i sj&oslash;\">Bekkarsvik</a> (from S) is 4 m, <a href=\"ssr:269074\" data-county=\"Rogaland\" data-lat=\"59.43907\" data-lng=\"5.09632\" data-municipality=\"Haugesund\" data-type=\"Sund i sj&oslash;\">Sandsund</a> <a href=\"ssr:609615\" data-county=\"Rogaland\" data-lat=\"59.44609\" data-lng=\"5.0918\" data-municipality=\"Haugesund\" data-type=\"Holme i sj&oslash;\">Nipsholmen</a> (from N) 5 m. The channel on the W side of <a href=\"ssr:609615\" data-county=\"Rogaland\" data-lat=\"59.44609\" data-lng=\"5.0918\" data-municipality=\"Haugesund\" data-type=\"Holme i sj&oslash;\">Nipsholmen</a> is not navigable due to a partly wrecked mole that lies just below the surface. All entrances are narrow but well marked. Bridge between <a href=\"ssr:548311\" data-county=\"Rogaland\" data-lat=\"59.44179\" data-lng=\"5.08236\" data-municipality=\"Haugesund\" data-type=\"&Oslash;ygruppe i sj&oslash;\">R&oslash;v&aelig;r</a> and <a href=\"ssr:62680\" data-county=\"Rogaland\" data-lat=\"59.4416\" data-lng=\"5.09543\" data-municipality=\"Haugesund\" data-type=\"&Oslash;y i sj&oslash;\">Urd</a>, clearance height 16 m.</p>",
