The mountains on the south side rise to great heights, and especially outside the fjords in Gulen, one is exposed to violent wind gusts from the southerly direction.</p><p>Except for the settlement at the entrance to Berlepollen, there are only scattered farms.</p><p>In Fr\u00f8ysj\u00f8en, the current sets in with rising water and out with falling water under calm weather conditions.</p>",
