        "description_en":"<p>On the N side of the open, weather-exposed Fr\u00f8ysj\u00f8en lie Fr\u00f8ya and Bremangerlandet, which rise towards the E near Hornelen to almost 900 meters in height.</p><p>Apart from the relatively dense population along the S side of Fr\u00f8ya, there are only scattered farms.</p><p>From the sea, one can approach Fr\u00f8ysj\u00f8en clear of all shoals and falls off Batalden and Fr\u00f8ya with Store Skorekinna (Hovden), 310 meters, or Kvannhovden lighthouse in true E or also in line with Botnanipa, 657 meters, over the N tip of Hovden. After passing Torsgrunnen, 19 meters, about 1 1/2 cables off, continue mid-channel NE over Fr\u00f8ysj\u00f8en.</p><p>The waters around the W and N sides of Fr\u00f8ya, from Flatskjera around Mulen and Nesje, are unclean far from shore. Therefore, one should not sail inside Flatskjera.</p><p>Neither should one in any sea hold between Hovmannsskjeret and Hovmannsflua, but steer well clear N of this islet.</p><p>The waters on the W side of Fr\u00f8ya, extending outwards towards Nordreflua, S\u00f8reflua, and Aldeflua, are full of islets, skerries, and shoals. The channels between these should only be used by those with local knowledge.</p><p>One is clear W of Nordreflua and S\u00f8reflua with the W tip of Alden (Norske hesten) to the W tip of Ytter\u00f8yane.</p><p>No reliable guidance for navigation in these unclean areas can be provided. Two known channels can be recommended, one between Fr\u00f8ya and H\u00e5\u00f8yna, the other W of H\u00e5\u00f8yna and Havr\u00f8yna.</p><p>The approach from the S is between G\u00e5s\u00f8yna and Gangvadboen, an iron post. Gangvadboen and Gangvadskjeret can be passed on either side. The approach from the E is between Gangvadskjeret and Stompeskjertaren, an iron rod. The channel leads N around the W of Stompeskjertaren, steering clear of the 5-meter shoal, further between Tob\u00f8rsholmen and Hovdeholmane, after which the channel splits into the two aforementioned channels which are both well marked with iron rods. The strait E of Litle Ver\u00f8yna is narrow and suitable only for small vessels. Therefore, the channel E of H\u00e5\u00f8yna is most used.</p><p>The approach from the N to these channels is in line with Botnanipa (657 meters) straight over the N tip of Havr\u00f8yna (Halen). One can pass between Halen and Haleflua. As a rule, keep NE of Haleflua.</p>",

Man b\u00f8r derfor ikke seile innenfor Flatskjera.</p><p>Heller ikke b\u00f8r man i noe sj\u00f8 holde mellom Hovmannsskjeret og Hovmannsflua, men styre godt klar N om denne holmen.</p><p>Farvannet p\u00e5 W\u2011siden av Fr\u00f8ya, helt utover mot Nordreflua, S\u00f8reflua, og Aldeflua, fullt av holmer, skj\u00e6r og grunner. L\u00f8pene mellom disse b\u00f8r ikke brukes av andre enn lokalkjente folk.</p><p>Man er fri W om Nordreflua og S\u00f8reflua med W\u2011pynten av Alden (Norske hesten) til W\u2011pynten av Ytter\u00f8yane.</p><p>Noen sikker veiledning for seilasen i dette urene str\u00f8ket kan ikke gis. To kjente leier kan anbefales, den ene mellom Fr\u00f8ya og H\u00e5\u00f8yna, den andre W om H\u00e5\u00f8yna og Havr\u00f8yna.</p><p>Innseilingen fra S er mellom G\u00e5s\u00f8yna og Gangvadboen, jernstang. Gangvadboen og Gangvadskjeret kan passeres p\u00e5 begge sider. Innseilingen fra E er mellom Gangvadskjeret og Stompeskjertaren, jernstang. Leia f\u00f8rer N\u2011over W om Stompeskjertaren, idet man styrer klar 5 m grunnen, videre mellom Tob\u00f8rsholmen og Hovdeholmane, hvoretter l\u00f8pet deler seg i de to nevnte leiene som begge er godt oppmerket med jernstenger. Sundet E av Litle Ver\u00f8yna er smalt og egner seg bare for sm\u00e5fart\u00f8yer. L\u00f8pet E av H\u00e5\u00f8yna blir derfor mest brukt.</p><p>Innseilingen fra N til disse leiene er i medet Botnanipa (657) rett over N-pynten av Havr\u00f8yna (Halen). Man kan g\u00e5 mellom Halen og Haleflua. Som regel holdes NE om Haleflua.</p>",
