Along the route north to <a data-county=\"Vestland\" data-lat=\"60.39323\" data-lng=\"5.3245\" data-municipality=\"Bergen\" data-type=\"By\" href=\"ssr:551660\">Bergen</a> the landscape is more desolate, especially on the Sotra side.</p>\n\n<p>In harsh winters, ice forms in the inner fjord bottoms and inlets.</p>\n\n<p>The significant current noticeable out in the main passage is less perceptible inside the fjords, where it follows the tide.</p>",
