Ylvingen is a 7.6\u2011square\u2011kilometre relatively low island in Vega Municipality in Nordland, situated between the island of Vega and the mainland. From the island, which has a small permanent population, there are ferry connections to the mainland and to Vega, as well as express boat connections to Brønnøysund and Sandnessjøen.
\nThe island, known from the TV series “Himmelblå”, has some tourism during the summer, and offers accommodation and a seasonal restaurant.
\nYlvingsvågen, located on the northwest side of the island, is a good harbour. Marked approach from the south or west. Express boat calls.
\nOn the southeast side lies Hamna, somewhat sheltered but exposed to southerly winds. Mooring points located at the inner end of the harbour, but no quay.
