The anchorage outside the breakwater is good, mud bottom, but NW and SW winds can be heavy. The mountain Rotsethornet (649) looks like a haystack and is easily recognizable.
Innenfor moloen ligger mindre fartøyer godt beskyttet, dybde 3–4 m.
Ankerplassen utenfor moloen er god, sølebunn, men NW- og SW-lig vind kan ligge tungt på. Fjellet Rotsethornet (649) ser ut som en høysåte og er lett kjennelig.
