From Vea and inward, there are mooring bolts at regular intervals \u2013 except at the bottom of the bay \u2013 good holding ground. Sand and mud bottom.</p>\n\n<p>When anchoring, one must be cautious of the water pipelines.</p>\n\n<p>In strong gales from the N, the larger fishing vessels are best positioned in <a data-county=\"Rogaland\" data-lat=\"59.29495\" data-lng=\"5.24045\" data-municipality=\"Karm\u00f8y\" data-type=\"Sea bay\" href=\"ssr:208147\">Kvarvik</a>, S of Sund.
