Depth in the canal is 2.3 m. One must stay along the eastern shore due to sandbanks from the western shore.</p>\n<h3>Current and Tidal Conditions</h3>\n<p>It is not difficult to enter the lock from the S due to the direction of the current. If entering the lock from the N, one must pay close attention to the current, especially when it flows N. The current from the eastern channel can easily push the vessel towards the western shore.
